BHUBANESWAR: Within a fortnight, the State capital, Bhubaneswar, got the taste of second private FM channel as Adlabs Films launched its 17th edition of BIG 92.7 FM here on Thursday. The 92.7 FM has come up with a 19-hour non-stop programmes, which are blend of information and entertainment. "The programming mix of station has been put together after much research and understanding of our listeners' requirements. It is our aim to create content that is relevant, credible and has an aspirational value to the listeners," Sudev Dutta, Associate Vice-President of company's eastern region, said.
Features
Features such as devotional songs, old Oriya as well as Hindi songs, gossip and basic information on city's basic services have been incorporated in the schedule. The 92.7 FM would try to introduce common people with uncommon qualities to its listeners, Mr. Dutta said. Though trial run was going on since April 14, the company formally launched the channel here presenting its radio jockeys before media. Earlier on May 3, city-based Eastern Media Limited had launched its channel, Radio Choklate, first private FM channel in the State.
