HUBLI: The Hindu EducationPlus will organise a "Pre-Counselling Guidance Session" for students seeking admission to professional courses in the State on May 23 in Hubli. The programme will provide an opportunity for students to interact with an eminent panel of speakers from the field of education. It will give students an insight into what courses to opt for, career prospects and the admission procedures. The programme is being held at Sawai Gandharva Hall at Deshpande Nagar in Hubli, commencing at 10 a.m. The Hindu is organising the guidance programme for the third year in Hubli. The panellists for the session will be Ashok Shettar, principal, B.V. Bhoomaraddi College of Engineering and Technology, Hubli (Engineering); M.G. Hiremath, director of Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) and Hospital (Medical Sciences), Hubli; and K.V.V. Prasad, professor and Head of the Department of Community Dentistry, SDM College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad (Dental Sciences). Homeopath T.S. Mohankumar will also speak. There will be an interaction session to enable the students and their parents to put forward queries and clarify their doubts with regard to professional courses.
