Adi Dravidar school produces good results

In Plus Two examinations Out of the 88 who took the examinations, 64 emerged successful

NAGAPATTINAM: The Adi Dravidar Welfare Government Higher Secondary School in Kondal, about 10 km from Sirkazhi, has come up with good performance in Plus Two examinations.

According to G. Arockiasamy, Chief Educational Officer, Nagapattinam district, the school had secured 73 per cent pass percentage. Out of the 88 candidates who appeared for the examination, as many as 64 had emerged successful.

T. Kanimozhi had secured the highest total of 1,008 out of 1,200.

The CEO said that the overall performance of 38 Government higher secondary schools in the district comprising Mayiladuturai and Nagapattinam educational districts was very good. The teachers had encouraged the students resulting in good number of them securing more than 60 per cent. The school at Vedaranyam topped with 97 per cent pass percentage, he said.
