HYDERABAD:
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner C.V.S.K. Sarma has called for a total restoration of Chinnarayan lake in Old Alwal. A short tender notice can be called for completing the work before the onset of monsoon, he suggested.
The Commissioner paid a visit to the Alwal and Qutbullapur circle areas on Thursday and interacted with the general public on the state of civic amenities. Residents brought to his notice the bad shape of the lake, which was causing inundation.
In the Qutbullapur circle, he went round the vermin compost unit and ongoing work for the Rajiv Gruhakalpa colony at Surraram village.
