NEW DELHI: Sony has launched its high definition video-conferencing unit in India that includes network cameras, recording devices and visual communication systems. The new product will mainly cater to the needs of those involved in telemedicine, specialised education and manufacturing besides the corporate and government sectors. The hi-tech PCS-HG90 will cost Rs. 23 lakh with 3CCD camera and Rs. 20 lakh with single CCD camera. "HD presents an exciting opportunity for today's leading organisations to enhance their video-conference experience with clarity of ideas exchanged," said Sony India's Marketing Head (Business Communication Products), Ambareesh Dixit, at the launch function here on Friday.
