TIRUPATI: About 97 per cent of candidates who appeared for the Sri Venkateswara University Common Entrance Test (SVUCET-2007) this year came out successful. A total of 2,4583 candidates had registered for the test while 21,526 attended. Of them 20,945 candidates passed, including 8,020 women and 12,925 men.
Rank cards
Releasing the results here on Saturday, Vice-Chancellor S.Jayarama Reddy said that the rank cards would be dispatched in three or four days to all the candidates who had taken the test, while centralised admissions for the constituent and affiliated colleges would be conducted by the Directorate of Admissions at Srinivasa auditorium on the campus from June 18. Director of Admissions K.V.Sarma said that the admission schedule, category-wise ranks called for counselling and other details could be had from the website 'www.svudoa.com'. Meanwhile, SEICOM degree and PG college, Tirupati, has announced that a student, Pavankumar Reddy, had secured the sixth rank in the SVUCET, while 12 other students bagged ranks below 100.
