CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu and South interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema. Dry weather prevailed over Kerala, Lakshadweep, Telangana, Coastal and North interior Karnataka.

On Friday, heat wave conditions prevailed over parts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh.

The maximum temperature fell at one or two places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and changed little elsewhere over the region.

Khammam recorded the highest maximum temperature of 47 degree Celsius in the region.

Forecast (Valid until Monday Morning): Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places over Lakshadweep. Isolated rain or thundershowers are also likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Coastal and South interior Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. Mainly dry weather will prevail over North interior Karnataka.
