Fake currency, explosive material recovered
SRINAGAR:
The Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday recovered fake currency having a face value of Rs. 1 lakh and three kgs of explosive material from a car in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The fake currency and explosive material was recovered when police stopped a car in Chitragam-Nagabal area on the basis of specific information, a police spokesman said here.
A police team stopped the car with three persons in it.
On searching the vehicle and passengers, fake currency having a face value of one lakh and three kilograms of explosive material were recovered, the spokesman said. PTI
