Training programme concludes

SALEM: The entrepreneurship development programme organised under the Swarnajayanthi Shahari Rozgar Yojana concluded here on Saturday.

A total of 27 women and three men were trained in entrepreneurial skills, marketing management, market research and analysis, business development and project preparation during the programme, organised by the Commissionerate of Municipal Administration.

Participating in the valedictory function, Mayor J. Rekha Priyadarshini encouraged the participants to start micro-enterprises.

Later, the Mayor distributed certificates to the participants.

City Engineer R. Vijayakumar and senior officials were present during the valedictory function.
