`Siddaramaiah is not being ignored'

Special Correspondent

BANGALORE: Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly N. Dharam Singh on Monday said it was left to the party high command to decide on providing a suitable post to the former Deputy Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Speaking to presspersons after attending a programme held here to mark the 16th death anniversary of the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, Mr. Singh described reports that Siddaramaiah was upset over being ignored as "media speculation".

He also sought to downplay reports that Mr. Siddaramaiah and his followers in the Congress were leaving for Delhi to call on top leaders of the All-India Congress Committee.
