Bal Bhavan holds cultural show
BANGALORE:
The Jawahar Bal Bhavan organised an exhibition-cum-cultural show marking the end of their annual 30-day summer camp which started on April 20.
Around 1,400 students participated in the training programme in over 22 centres across the city. The exhibition was inaugurated by Minister for Women and Child Development S.K. Kumaraswamy. The exhibition consisted of paintings, clay models, fur dolls and so on, which the children had been trained in the camp. The exhibition was followed by a cultural show "Yakshagana" organised by the students. Shivani Shivakumar, IV student of Baldwins Girls High School displayed her painting and clay models. Vijay B.N.H. of St. Joseph's also had an exhibition of flower making and fur dolls.
