Book on Sree Narayana Guru

After writing books on such esoteric subjects as linguistics, cardiology and Buddha, K. Sugathan, former Professor of Cardiology, Kozhikode Medical College, has come out with a book on Sree Narayana Guru.

Says Dr. Sugathan about `Guruvinte charithram,' his latest book: "It is true that a lot has been written on Sree Narayana Guru. In fact, many believe more biographies have been published about him than any other social leader in our society. But my book is different in the sense that it is meant to help both children as well as grown-ups understand the life of Sree Narayana Guru."

`Guruvinte Charithram,' published by Sree Narayana Club of Kozhikode, was released here on Monday at a gathering of book-lovers and authors. N. Vijayan, president of the club, presented a copy to historian M.G.S. Narayanan.
