Gandikota reservoir: IVRCL bags contract

HYDERABAD: IVRCL Infrastructure and Projects Ltd. will execute works on investigation, design, supply and erection of components to lift 8.30 tmc feet of water from the foreshore of Gandikota storage reservoir-I near Timmapuram village in Kadapa district as part of package-1 at a cost of Rs. 275 crore.

In a press release issued here on Monday, the company said that it also bagged a contract for another Rs. 276 crore.

This would envisage the works from the foreshore of reservoir-I to storage reservoir-II near Yellanur village as part of package-2.

The works would be completed in 45 days.
