Admissions into sports hostels

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Trials to select trainees in kabaddi for sports hostels run by Kerala State Sports Council (KSC) will be held in Kannur, Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram on May 25 to 27.

The admission is open for players who have part of medal-winning teams at district-level. Those interested should report at the venues at 9.30 a.m. with attested copies of the documents supporting their age, sporting excellence and educational qualification.

For those seeking admission into school hostels, the cut off date for age is January 1, 1989. The cut off date for age is January 1, 1987 for those seeking admission to youth and college hostels.

The trails will be held at the Police ground, Kannur, on May 25, at the Municipal Stadium, Thrissur, on May 26 and at the Central Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram, on May 27. For details call the office of the KSC, ph: 0471-2330167.
