CHENNAI: Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu, Rayalaseema, coastal and south interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather prevailed over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Kerala and Lakshadweep. Dry weather prevailed over Telangana and north interior Karnataka.

The chief amounts of rainfall recorded in centimeters are Vanthavasi (Thiruvannamalai dt), Chembarambakkam (Thiruvallur dt) and Andipatti (Theni dt) 3 each.

Forecast (Valid until Thursday morning): Isolated rain or thundershowers are likely to occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Rayalaseema, coastal Andhra Pradesh and south interior Karnataka. Mainly dry will prevail over Kerala, Lakshadweep, Telangana, coastal and north interior Karnataka.

Heat Wave Warning: Heat wave conditions are likely to prevail over parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh during next two days.

Outlook for Subsequent Two Days: No large change.
