BELLARY: The district unit of the All India Democratic Students' Organisation (AIDSO) has urged the State Government to order for revaluation of the answer sheets of pre-university exams in order to ensure justice to students. It also wanted the Government to order for a thorough inquiry in the matter and initiate stern action against all those responsible in this regard. In a press release, N. Pramod, president of the district unit, has said that the students and the parents were shocked over the results announced as most of the students, who were expecting good marks and percentage, had failed. Students standing in long queues were a common sight in front of the banks to apply for Xerox copy of the answer sheet only indicated that the valuation done was not proper. The AIDSO has demanded that the government should immediately order for free revaluation and announce the results early besides refunding the revaluation amount collected from the students, withhold the announcement of CET results until the revaluation of pre-university exam papers were done besides deferring the process of admission in the degree colleges.
