HYDERABAD: A team of the Anti-Terrorist Squad of the Mumbai police, led by DIG Subodh Jaiswal, visited the blast site in Mecca Masjid here on Tuesday. The team will help the Hyderabad police in tracing the terror imprints in the blast case. It is studying the site and analysing the explosive material used in making the bomb. It will compare the IEDs used in Mecca Masjid with those triggered in Malegaon in Maharashtra that left 35 people killed on September 8 last. "Mr. Jaiswal would also probe the modus operandi involved in the two explosions and the possible link between the two incidents," a city police official said. The ATS team met officials of the special cell of the city police constituted to investigate the case. Sources said probe was on to find out whether any of the four alleged Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives, arrested by the Border Security Force a few weeks ago, were connected to the Hyderabad blast.
