Power shutdown today and tomorrow

MANGALORE: Power supply to Nanthoor, Kadri Toll Gate, Kadri market, Mallikatte, Mercara Hill, Bendore water supply works, Alvares Road, George Martis Road, Kadri Kaibattal, Temple Road, Kadri, Arya Samaj Road, Bunts Hostel, Patrao Lane, Hotel Woodlands, Light House Hill Road and adjoining areas will be disrupted from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Maintenance work

This is because Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Ltd. (MESCOM) plans to take up urgent maintenance work on the 11-kV Kodialbail and Industrial feeders originating from the 33/11-kV Kulshekar sub-station, according to a press release from MESCOM issued in Mangalore on Monday.

In Udupi

On Thursday, power supply to Manipal University, Manipal, Mudradi, Belinje, Kalthuru, Hebri, Perduru, Baje, Parkala, Manai, Hirebettu and adjoining areas in Udupi district will be disrupted from 9.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.

This is because Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (KPTCL) will be taking up urgent maintenance work at the 110-kV Hiriadka sub-station, the press release from MESCOM added.
