Holiday on June 2

BANGALORE: The State Government has declared June 2 as a holiday for government offices, schools and colleges (including aided institutions), factories, boards and corporations, local bodies, banks and life insurance corporations coming within the limits of the Ullal Legislative Assembly constituency to help the voters exercise their franchise in the byelection. According to an official release, the holiday does not apply to those coming under the essential service category.
