Anti-liquor panel soon: YSR

HYDERABAD:
The Government will shortly constitute an anti-liquor campaign committee and allocate the required funds.
Announcing this here on Tuesday, Chief Minister Y.S.Rajasekhara Reddy said the Government would initiate steps to check factionalism in the State. Dr. Reddy was interacting with a delegation comprising representatives of Avoid Wildness And Yeastiness (AWAY), Jana Chaitanya Vedika and Jana Vignana Vedika. He made the announcement on the committee in response to a complaint by V. Lakshmana Reddy, president, Jana Chaitanya Vedika, against the Government of not implementing prohibition in a phased manner, as assured in the Congress manifesto. Dr. Reddy promised to consider 25 demands in the memorandum submitted by them.
