Rain interrupts play

Dusseldorf: James Blake claimed his first career win at the ARAG World Team championships on Tuesday before rain prevented a final result in the tie between the U.S. and Argentina.

Sweden and Chile were also caught out by the weather at the Rochusclub. Blake gave the U.S. a valuable first point through his 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 win over Argentine Agustin Calleri.
