THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Children's Film Club set up by the Children's Film Society, India, will be formally inaugurated at Tagore Theatre here at 10 a.m. on May 26. According to a press note issued here, the inaugural ceremony will be followed by the screening of the internationally acclaimed children's film from Iran `Hayat.' The film has subtitles in English.

Children who have applied for membership can collect their ID cards from Tagore Theatre from 9 a.m. onwards on May 26. Spot memberships will also be given. While entry to the screening of the movies will be free for the Club members, the accompanying parents will have to pay a nominal entry fee. The club has been formed with the primary objective of enabling children aged 8 to 14 to watch quality films at regular intervals so that they can develop a taste for good cinema.
