Railway team to visit Kalamassery

KOCHI: A high-level railway delegation led by Thiruvananthapuram Railway Divisional Manager will visit Kalamassery railway station on May 25.

The visit follows demand by Kalamassery Pourasamiti for development of the railway station and stoppage of more passenger trains at the station, said a press release issued here. A meeting of the samiti, chaired by V.M. Arifa, Kalamassery municipality chairperson, decided to accord the delegation a reception at the Productivity Hall.

K. Chandran Pillai, MP, delivered the keynote address.
