Kochi to host coir fair

KOCHI: The India International Coir Fair will be held in Kochi from December 7 to 11.

The venue of the Coir Fair was shifted from Alappuzha to Kochi in view of the infrastructure facilities available here. The decision to change the venue was taken by the committee organising the fair last Saturday.

Buyers from the European Union, the U.S. and niche markets in South America will participate in the fair. It is organised with co-sponsorship of the Union Ministry of Agro-Rural Industries and Commerce and Industries as well as State Governments.
