Puducherry: Health Minister E.Valsaraj handed a cheque for Rs. 94,000 to a poor patient K. Alexander from out of the Medical Relief Fund operated by the Department of Health and Family Welfare here on Tuesday. The amount would enable him to take treatment for cardiac surgery at a corporate hospital in Chennai, according to a release from Ohm Sakthi Segar MLA. — Special Correspondent
