THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Cooperation Minister G. Sudhakaran on Wednesday told the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court that he had not made any disparaging remarks against judicial officers as reported in a section of the media. The court had issued a notice to the Minister for his alleged remarks against judicial officers at a function held at the Trivandrum Press Club on May 7. The notice was issued based on a petition filed by Muttada C. Balachandran, pointing out that the remark made by the Minister amounted to contempt of court. The court observed that irresponsible comments from Ministers could erode the credibility of the public in law-enforcing agencies.
