Fishing harbour at Valiathura

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : Union Minister for Shipping, Road Transport and Highways T.R. Baalu has assured representatives of the Latheen Catholika Aikyavedi that the Central Government will take up the construction of a fishing harbour at Valiathura.

According to a press note issued here on Thursday, the assurance was given by the Minister when the vedi representatives submitted a memorandum highlighting the need for such a harbour at Vizhinjam.
