Revised Samjhauta Express schedule

Will be effective from May 31

NEW DELHI: The Northern Railway on Thursday announced a revision in the days on which the Samjhauta Express and the Attari Special trains would run from Delhi to Attari and the Wagah border. The new schedule will be effective fromMay 31.

According to an official spokesman, the 4608 Lahore-Attari Samjhauta Express and the 4002 Attari-Delhi-Attari Special train will now run on every Tuesday and Friday instead of Monday and Thursday.

The 4001 Delhi-Attari Special and the 4607 Attari-Lahore Samjhauta Express will continue to run on Sunday and Wednesday and Monday and Thursday respectively.

Timings unchanged

There will be no change in the timings of the Samjhauta and Attari Special trains.

However, one AC-3 tier coach has augmented the 4001/4002 Delhi-Attari Link Express train with immediate effect on both directions on an experimental basis for six months.
