CUDDALORE: The kumbabhishekam for the newly built Sri Rajagopala Swamy Temple at Periyar Nagar at Vriddhachalam will be performed on Sunday. According to the temple trust sources, the rituals, to be held between 11.30 a.m. and 12.15 p.m. on that day, will be guided by Ranga Narayana Jeer of Sri Rangam, Emperumanar Jeer of Thirukkoilur, A.V. Rangachari, trustee of Thiruchitrakoodam Govindaraja Perumal Temple, and Ramasamy Iyengar of Perumathur. Special pujas, music and spiritual discourses would mark the occasion.
