Power shutdown on Saturday

CHENNAI: Power supply will be suspended on Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. at Padmavathiyar Road, Jaipur Nagar and Gopalapuram in Nungambakkam area; Ayappakkam, ICF Colony, Chelleamman Nagar, Bhavani Nagar, T.G. Anna Nagar and Iyyappan Nagar in Ayappakkam area; at O-Block in Shenoy Nagar; and Magarai, Komakkambedu, Thamaraipakkam, Well No.8 and Melakondaiyur in Pondeswaram area.

Workshop

United States Educational Foundation in India (USEFI) and Center for South and Southeast Asian Studies, University of Madras, will organise a Fulbright mentoring workshop for potential applicants of the fellowship on June 1 at 9.30 a.m. The workshop will include discussions on basic guidelines in Fulbright applications, elements of strong applications and presentation during interviews. Srinivasa Ramanujan Academy of Maths Talent will organise an interaction between a panel of five Mathematics professors from Ramanujan Centre of Sastra University at Kumbakonam and students of classes IX and X.
