Online reservation of bus tickets launched

HYDERABAD: City-based Internet services company Abhibus on launched an online reservation service portal for bus travellers to enable them reserve tickets in various private bus services. Transport Minister K. Laxminarayana launched the service here on Thursday.

The company tied up with over 17 fleet owners across the country making it possible to reserve bus tickets to any destination in the country by just visiting www.abhibus.com, company founder Ch. Sudhakar Reddy said. "We managed to bring all the privately-owned bus services onto a single platform," he said. Users can opt for the service provider and the type of bus they wish to travel. One can select a seat depending on its availability and block it. Payment can be made through credit card, debit card or bank transfer of money. Once the payment is made, users can take out the print of the e-ticket or get a PNR number either on their mobile or email address.
