Peaceful meeting

Even as the city was rocked by bomb blast last week, the congregation of the Tabligi Jamaat went off peacefully at Mamidipally beyond Pahadishariff. Contrary to expectations, the blast did not scare away the participants. On the other hand an estimated 10 lakh people turned up from different parts of the State to the three-day meet.

The venue resembled a tent city with a huge pandal put up to accommodate the people. No, there was not a word about the blast or the happenings elsewhere.
