Sehwag, Amit help ONGC win

NEW DELHI: Virender Sehwag and Amit Sharma cracked half centuries to help Oil and Natural Gas Corporation beat Punjab Cricket Association Colts by six wickets to enter the semifinals of the Goswami Ganesh Dutt memorial cricket tournament at the Khalsa College ground here on Sunday.

In the semifinals, ONGC will play Collage Group on June 1.

The scores: Punjab Cricket Association Colts 205 for nine in 40 overs (Udey Kaul 68, Gaurav Gupta 66) lost to ONGC 206 for four in 37.2 overs (Virender Sehwag 58, Amit Sharma 53 not out, Rizwan Shamshad 36, Ajay Ratra 35 not out).
