GULBARGA: The police on Monday foiled the designs of a four-member gang to strike at passing vehicles by placing boulders on the outskirts of Gulbarga city. The police said that based on a tip-off they rushed to Taj Sultan Road on Gulbarga Ring Road and arrested four persons — Malleshappa, Suresh Sharanappa Pujari, Amaresh Namdev Doddi and Praveenkumar Premkanth — all residents of Ashraya Colony in the city. According to the police, the arrested were produced before a court which remanded them to judicial custody.
