Identity documents for Ullal bypoll

BANGALORE: Voters in Ullal Assembly constituency may produce any of the following documents to be able to vote in the June 2 byelection, if they do not have a voter identity card, according to Fairoza Khanam, Joint Chief Electoral Officer.

The documents are: passport; driving licence; PAN card; service identity card issued to employees by Union or State Governments, public sector undertakings, local bodies or public limited companies; passbook issued by public sector banks, post offices, kisan passbook (for accounts opened on or before March 31, 2007); property documents such as pattas and registered deeds; ration card issued on or before March 31, 2007; Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe or Other Backward Class certificate issued on or before March 31, 2007; pension documents such as ex-servicemen's pension book/pension payment order/ex-servicemen's widow or dependent certificates, old age pension order or widow pension order; railway identification cards issued before March 31, 2007; arms licence issued before March 31, 2007; and certificate of physical disability issued before March 31, 2007.
