Indian team arrives in Kolkata

Kolkata : The Indian cricket team arrived here on Monday after a thumping series win over Bangladesh.

Manager of the team Ravi Shastri, bowling coach Venkatesh Prasad, fielding coach Robin Singh and batsmen, Saurav Ganguly, Dinesh Karthik and Wasim Jaffer arrived at Kolkata airport as the other players flew out to their native cities. Bowling Coach Venkatesh Prasad said the team performed well even though the conditions were not suitable.

``The whole team played well. I think we need to do well in all departments. It was a collective effort. It was not easy to perform in those conditions. Hats off to the players, to the whole team,'' Prasad said. — ANI
