Committee inspects development works

DINDIGUL: A special vigilance and monitoring committee led by Palani MP S.K. Karvendhan inspected various development works being undertaken at several villages this year and the works completed in the previous year in the district here on Monday. The team had toured Athoor, Reddiyarchatram, Nilakottai and Batlagundu unions and inspected projects executed by the Department of Agriculture Engineering.

Interacting with officials, Mr. Karvendhan said a power project at Alamarathupatti would benefit 1,033 persons.

Dindigul MP N.S.V. Chithan, District Rural Development Agency Project Officer P. Ponnaia, TWAD Board Executive Engineer Kodhandaraman and other officials accompanied the team.
