CHANDIGARH: The Haryana Women Development Corporation has introduced a new scheme from April 1 this year to provide loans on easy terms to girls so that they can get higher education within India or abroad, Women and Child Development Minister Kartar Devi told media persons here on Monday. She pointed out that any girl or woman student could get a loan for higher education at an annual subsidy of 5 per cent on the rate of interest.
