Tricolour to weaker sections' houses justified

HYDERABAD: Housing Minister B. Satyanarayana has justified the Government action in having the houses constructed for weaker sections painted in tricolour, the colour of the Congress party.

At a press conference here on Monday, he said the tri-colour painting on the exterior of the houses was a symbol of the achievements of the party while in power.

The TDP had painted the houses yellow when in power, he remarked.
