THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Girls cornered most of the first ranks in the final-year B.Sc. examinations of the University of Kerala, the results of which were published here on Monday. Of the 11 subjects, the top ranks in eight went to girls. As many as 6,366 candidates wrote the examinations. Of this, 3,601 secured first class, 1,164 second class and 351 third class. The number of candidates who passed is 5,216, a pass percentage of 81.94. Last year, the pass percentage was 86.45. The mark lists can be had from the respective colleges after June 11.
Revaluation
Applications for revaluation and scrutiny can be submitted till June 2. The dates of the supplementary examinations will be notified later.
