Killed in accident

KOCHI: A man was killed and several persons were injured in two road accidents here on Monday. V.C. Joseph, 42, of Kumbalanghi North, was killed after his motorcycle and a private bus collided near the Vathuruthy crossing. A bus and a car collided at Vallarpadom. Balan, 60, Baby Joseph, 35, Nelson, 24, and Syam Kurian, 24, who were in the car, are in hospital. Over 20 bus passengers were admitted to the General Hospital. Latha Bhai, 35, of Panayappilly, was shifted to Medical Trust Hospital, said a General Hospital official. — Staff Reporter
