BANGALORE: The nail-biting wait for the results of class 10 examinations, conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Examination, is over. The results of schools coming under the Chennai region of the board were announced on Monday. Most of the CBSE schools in the city recorded cent per cent results. The proud principals of these schools could not hide their joy and attributed the success to the focussed effort of both students and teachers. They said that the hard work put in by the students, teachers as well as parents has paid off. All the 48 students of Military School who appeared for the examinations have passed in first class. Five students have scored above 90 per cent. "As ours is a boarding school, students used to interact with the teachers even during study holidays. Our teachers never shied from helping students. This has reflected in the results," said principal Colonel Manohar. In Army Public School, all the 167 students have passed. As many as 13 have scored above 90 per cent. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Railway Colony, has also recorded cent per cent results with 44 students passing in first class. Principal P. Paramasivam said that apart from conducting two pre-board exams, they had conducted many class tests to boost the confidence level among the students. The 42 students of Delhi Public School (South) have passed in first division. Sixteen students have scored above 90 per cent. Principal Manju Sharma said that the results were as expected and the management would felicitate both teachers and students. In Venkat International Public School, all the 133 students have passed in first class. Four students have scored 100 marks in mathematics. In Kendriya Vidyalaya, ASC Centre, 223 of the 225 students who appeared for the examination have passed. Principal E. Ananthan said that they conducted orientation classes for students to overcome the examination phobia. All the 59 students of National Public School, Koramangala, have passed in first class.Principal Bindu Hari attributed the success to "focussed learning and teaching". Both branches of Sindhi High School have recorded cent per cent results. At Sindhi High School, Hebbal, 71 of the 97 students who took the examination passed in distinction. Maithreyi Satyadev, principal of Sindhi High School, Kumara Krupa, said 59 of the 85 students had passed in distinction, while 21 secured first class.All the students of CMR National Public School, Kalyanangar, have passed. A press release from Sri Vani Education Centre said that all the 38 students who appeared for the board examination have passed in first class. Six students have scored above 90 per cent.
