Fishermen rescued

Rescue operation conducted by Marine Enforcement

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Five fishermen who ventured out to sea from Poovar, Pozhiyoor and Pallithura on Sunday were rescued from near Kollengode by a Marine Enforcement boat. Five people on board another boat that set out to sea from Anchuthengu was rescued by a Marine Enforcement boat later in the day. Around 25 fibreglass boats and several small country craft that were swept out to sea from the beaches in the district were also located and anchored in mid sea.
