Coconut oil import allowed

NEW DELHI: The Union Government on Tuesday allowed imports of coconut oil under export obligation to avoid any shortage in the domestic market. The Director General of Foreign Trade through a notification added coconut oil in the list under the Advance Authorisation Scheme, which earlier allowed only spices import.
