BANGALORE: The Common Entrance Test (CET-2007) seat selection process will formally commence at the CET Cell here on Wednesday at 10.30 a.m. with the medical examination of candidates belonging to Physically Disabled category. Medical Examination will be conducted by the Medical Board, and the eligible candidates will be allowed to select the Medical, Dental, Indian Systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy and Engineering seats in the order of merit from 3 p.m. on the same day. The number of medical seats available for selection for the eligible Physically Disabled category candidates is as follows: Bangalore Medical College: four seats; Mysore Medical College, Mysore, (3); Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences, Hubli, (3); Government Medical College, Bellary, (3); Total Available seats: 13. Two seats are available at the Government Dental College, Bangalore. Four Ayurveda, one Homoeopathy and one Unani seat are on offer in the ISM & H colleges. A total of 134 B.E. seats are available for the Physically Disabled category in the engineering colleges.
OMR answer sheets
The CET Cell has already hosted the key answers and OMR answer sheets of the entrance test on its website, with the technical support of the National Informatics Centre, Karnataka State Unit. The NIC has also helped the Cell to generate the rank list and display the online seat availability for all the professional courses.
