Hansa Research buys U.S. firm

CHENNAI: Hansa Research, part of the RK Swamy+Hansa Group, has acquired full ownership interest in GCR Custom Research LLC, based in Portland, Oregon, U.S. GCR, which was once the custom research arm of Gartner, was acquired from private equity owners, according to a release. "This is our first major step in creating an overseas presence. We are looking at opportunities to enter other areas of marketing services in the U.S," said Srinivasan K. Swamy, Chairman, RK Swamy+Hansa group.
