Thulasidas CMD of the merged carrier

NEW DELHI: The Government has approved the appointment of Air India chief V. Thulasidas as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) and his Indian Airlines counterpart Vishwapati Trivedi as Joint Managing Director of the newly-merged State-owned carrier that will have the brand name of "Air India''. Their appointment will take effect from the time the merged entity comes into being.
