Isolated rain in Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at most places over Kerala and Lakshadweep, at many places over coastal Karnataka and at a few places over interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Tamil Nadu. Mainly dry weather prevailed over Telangana and Rayalaseema and dry weather prevailed over coastal Andhra Pradesh. Agathi Airport recorded a heavy rainfall of 8 centimeters. The other chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cm are: Kannur and Aminidivi 6 each, Kasargod and Kunnamkulam (Thrissur dt.) 5 each.

FORECAST VALID UNTIL FRIDAY MORNING: Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places over coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at a few places over south interior Karnataka and interior Tamil Nadu. Isolated rain or thundershowers are also likely to occur over coastal Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and north interior Karnataka. Mainly dry weather will prevail over Telangana.

Partly cloudy. Possibility of shower or thundershower in some areas during evening or night. Maximum temperature will be around 39 degree Celsius.
