Free health camp for government employees

CUDDALORE: A total of 584 government employees underwent a free health check-up at a special camp organised at Town Hall here on Wednesday.

District Collector Rajendra Ratnoo inaugurated the camp. Forty-five medical personnel drawn from Aravind Eye Hospital and Pondicherry Institute of Medical Sciences screened the employees.

The camp was organised to carry out blood tests, electro-cardiograph tests, diabetes, eye ailments and general treatment.

Mr. Ratnoo said that to cover all Government staff in the district it had been decided to conduct similar health camps at Chidambaram and Vriddhachalam soon.
