Students do their bit, clean railway station

HYGIENE: Students participating in the drive to clean the Gulbarga railway station on Wednesday.

GULBARGA: It was a pleasant sight at the Gulbarga Railway Station with students of the Railway School at Wadi and Shahabad joining hands with the railway staff to clean the station premises.

More than 50 students from these two schools participated in the drive.

The students also distributed pamphlets to passengers on the need to maintain the railway station clean. Scouts Masters, Guides Captains, Scouts, Guides, Rovers and Ranges participated in the drive.

A similar drive will be taken up at Kurduwadi and Daund Railway stations on June 1 and 2 respectively.

Senior officials including Assistant Commercial Manager B.L. Kori stationed at Solapur, Station Manager P.S. Yadav and others participated in the cleaning drive.
